Your story is a bit confusing but I think I get what you are saying/asking. It sounds like even when you were together on vacation he hardly replied to your texts or anything until he saw you with another guy (sorry if I get this wrong it was a lot to read lol) and if that is true then if makes sense that he takes his time to text you back unless you're angry because he essentially did that when you went out with him the first time. As far as the Love ya and Love you thing everyone is different as far as if they see them as being the same. For me I kind of see them as being the same but when it's said I Love You then it seems more meaningful and that the other person really does love you, whereas love ya seems like something a close friend would say. That's just me and I'm sure other people have other opinions. I hope this helps!
