I have sent my visa application to D.C. instead of Houston.?

I have accidentally sent my Pakistan visa application the Washington D.C. embassy in stead of Houston (I'm in New Mexico). They aren't going to decline it are they? I have spoken to a few different people and no one has said anything but i just dont want it to randomly pop up and screw my trip. im 2.5 weeks out from my departure date.
