Does the implant stop your period?

i don't think it does. i think it lasts for 3 years though, so if you really want to be safe and wait until you have a child that is the route to go down. you don't have an op for anything to do with it, i think it just gets injected into your arm and it's so tiny, like smaller than a grain of rice.
