My hair is natural brown and I wanted it blonde...?

My hair is natural brown and I wanted it blond but i ABSOLUTELY DO NOT want to bleach it so don't say "strip it, bleach it, then recolor it" please. SO yea like I was saying I want it blonde so just today I used Loreal Superior Preference Medium Blonde 8 it's a little lighter but still brown should I go to a Salon and get it dyed (cause I know for a fact Salons don't need to bleach hair to dye it) or does it gradually get lighter until it's the color i want it to be and if that's the case then how long will it take until it's blonde? I'm a 13 year old girl. Yes it's my first time dyeing all of my hair. I was born blonde but in stead of getting lighter in the sunlight it got darker and I want to be blonde again please help me and once again I am NOT bleaching it no matter what. Please and thank you.
