Why can't Palestinians/arabs just cut their losses w. Israel and assimilate greater arab world?

the jews have been through sooo much hard **** for so many years and they never once b!tched about it. like they moved on and tried to prosper and where successful.. I don't understand why the Palestinians can't just try to prosper in the countries they are in and make the best of life in stead of dedicating their whole life to hating and wanting to destroy the jews. l
