I need help with a school writing project!?

ok so im doing a persuasive writing piece about having nine periods in stead of 8 in the school day so people can do more things during the school day... can you guys help me by giving me an argument of why we should like why we should have 9 periods during the day ;D and please be serious.. i really need help!!
