What is the name of this book?

I read a book years ago and I wanted to know what the title was. It's about a girl that grows up on a farm, and she has a boys name because her dad always wanted a son. Then one day, her mom catches on fire in the kitchen, and the girl throws what she thinks is a bucket of water on her mom when it is instead a bucket of oil. So then her mom burns to death and a whole bunch of other stuff happens. It's written in a poem-ish format; kinda like how Crank is written. Does anyone know the name of this book????
